This year at the Boston Seafood Expo, CFE Seafoods debuted it’s new line of Buena Ventura frozen seafood items for the Latino/Ethnic market. Items include a 1 lb. bag Seafood Mix featuring shrimp, mussels, calamari rings and squid tentacles, a 1 lb. bag of wild-caught, medium size, Calamari rings, and a 2 lb. resealable bag of ready-to-cook whole Snapper.
“With these three new items, we intend on capitalizing on our well established Buena Ventura brand, a highly recognized and highly regarded brand among Spanish, Latino & Caribbean consumers in the US” explains Kevin Donahue, CFE’s President. “All three products were configured to align with the traditional recipes and buying habits of this consumer group, and we believe will deliver everyday convenience and value to our customers.”
“We expect this line to do very well among many of the smaller speciality markets we now serve, and this provides us a new opportunity to get in front of larger retail buyers with items that will directly appeal to this increasing Latino consumer group,” Donahue adds. All items are sustainably sourced, flash frozen for freshness, and ready-to-cook. CFE expects to have all items available in stock begining July 2023.
